Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Describe recent advances in the understanding of the pathophysiology of type 1 and type 2 diabetes, as well as comorbidities of these conditions
- Describe advances in research related to diabetes treatments that have translated into improved glucose control and quality of life for people living with this condition
