Position Title: Manager, Joslin Diabetes Center
Department: Cardiovascular Services
Full-time: 40 hrs/week, M-F
Summary: Responsible for all aspects of daily operations of Joslin Diabetes Center including oversight/management of all staff. Plans, organizes and develops program and staff activities. With Medical Director, utilizes local/regional resources to assist in program’s optimal development and growth. Plans/implements aggressive physician/patient marketing program to develop awareness of the Joslin Diabetes Center and its services and to increase patient volumes. Produces and annually updates business plan for the Joslin Diabetes Center and maintains positive relationship(s) with Joslin Center Boston staff.
Qualifications: Minimum five years experience in physician practice operations and/or ambulatory management required. Prior experience in budgeting and financial operations, as well as extensive knowledge of business and medical systems required. Excellent verbal, analytical, problem solving and organizational skills, along with the ability to communicate and work well with physicians and patients required. Familiarity with provider scheduling and billing systems preferred.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: U.S. Board Certified Pediatric Endocrinologist
EXPERIENCE: Desire recent experience in diabetes team management, including all technologies and approaches utilizing insulin pumps, continuous glucose monitoring, all available diabetes medications, point of care testing and experience in transitional care from peds to adults.
Languages: Ability to speak Arabic ideal, but not required
